Cheap Shots is a sports bar and lounge that’s located in Flushing, New York. You may think it’s cheap at first when you see the menu, but it definitely starts to add up at a point of time.

There is security present at the front door where identification and vaccination cards are verified. After checking your identification and vaccination cards, they pat you down and check your bag if you bring one.

Once I got inside of Cheap Shots, it was dark with strobe lights and loud music, but I can say inside looked spotless. I got the option to sit wherever I wanted, so I chose a booth seat. I scanned the qr barcode which was on the table. Once you scan the qr barcode with your camera, it brings you to their menu online, which has a lot of good options. The waiters were very quick, so I was able to order within five minutes of sitting down.

I ordered twelve honey jack barbecue chicken wings, loaded nachos and dumplings. The chicken wings were eleven dollars, the loaded nachos were eight dollars and the dumplings were also eight dollars. Of course, I didn’t eat all of that by myself; my boyfriend and his friend came to meet me there. They arrived ten minutes after I ordered. It only took six minutes for the food to come out, so I wasn’t waiting for long.

The loaded nachos were my favorite dish of the night. The loaded nachos contained cheese sauce, jalapenos, diced tomatoes, onions, sour cream, pico de gallo and chunks of chicken. It was so yummy. After we ate our food, we decided to get drinks.

For the drinks we ordered five shots of “punchy” at three dollars each, five shots of “jolly rancher” at four dollars each and five “tipsy princesses” which were five dollars each. The “punchy” shot had tropical punch vodka, orange juice, cranberry juice and pineapple juice. The “jolly rancher” shot had vodka, watermelon, and apple schnapps. And lastly, the “tipsy princess” shot had ciroc, malibu, and pineapple juice. I’d say all of them were good but jolly rancher was very sweet. After fifteen minutes, we ordered more rounds of the same number of shots. To top off the night all three of us ordered the hennessy colada which was fifteen dollars. The hennessy colada had hennessy, ciroc coconut, cream of coconut and pineapple juice. After we were ready to go, we asked for the bill.

The bill came fast which was good service overall to me. The bill came up to $174.18. I felt like it was a little pricey, but dividing the bill into three came out to fifty-eight dollars and six cents. So, not bad after all. All I would say is those drinks definitely add up! Cheap Shots is the spot to go to on a Friday night with your friends and yes, it is recommended.
